Teila and her friend Lily LOVE jumping off the Davis Bay Pier. They don't seem to feel the cold water and if they do they don't care. The first jump is always a bit hesitat but once the first jump is done, they begin to count how many jumps they do, do. It's funny to remember me swimming in the ocean, I remember being cold at first, then as I went numb having a great time and swimming for a long time. Oh, to be young again!!!! Won't do that now. Is it because I am a grown up, chicken, or just boring? I don't know. Are any three of these excuses valid? No! Hmmm! Maybe next time she goes swimming in the ocean I will try to find my inner child and just go for it.
